Train timetable to and from Prague Velka Chuchle racecourse

The recommended way to get to Prague Velka Chuchle racecourse is by suburban train. On Sunday afternoons, trains leave Prague Main Station (Praha Hlavni nadrazi) at 20 minutes and 50 minutes after the hour. They stop at Smichovske nadrazi at 28 and 58 minutes past the hour, and arrive at Praha, Velka Chuchle railway station at 03 and 33 minutes after the hour.

The railway station is adjacent to the main entrance to the racecourse. A ticket from any tram, bus or metro stop in Prague costs 32 crowns. Remember to buy a ticket for your return journey before you leave the centre of town, as tickets are not available at Praha, Velka Chuchle railway station. Validate your ticket before you get on to the train by franking with a time stamp in the yellow automatic validator.

If you catch the train that leaves at 1320 from Praha Hlavni nadrazi and at 1328 from Smichovske nadrazi, you will arrive in good time for the first race, the standard time for which is 2 pm. 

Trains back into town leave at 25 minutes and 55 minutes past the hour.
