**

The conditions are similar to past years. A significant change is that the veterinary inspection at 8 a.m. on the morning of the race is no longer a condition for the race. This inspection was very unpopular with Czech trainers. The prize money has been raised from CzK 4 500 000 to CzK 5 000 000, i.e. almost EUR 200 000. A new rule is that 15 places in the race are reserved for Czech-owned horses. In the past, though not stated here, 25 runners have been allowed in the race. The race is therefore, in effect, limited to 10 foreign runners. It not likely that more than 10 foreign horses will be declared for the race. Note that entries for the race close very early, on May 16th. Supplementary entries can be made later, of course.
