The 2013 season at Pardubice begins on Wednesday, May 8th, first race at 1 pm.

The Opening Steepechase, 5 200 metres crosscountry,  is a Category I race this year, and has attracted an interesting and good-quality field. Ursan will probably be the favourite. There will also be much interest in the reappearance of triple crown winner on the flat, Age of Jape, which showed good promise over hurdles and fences two years ago, but missed last year. Bremen Plan also reappears, in a  minor race which he would have won easily a couple of years ago. However, he has had health problems since then, and has seemed to be past his best.
