During the 18 years I have been sponsoring “Best Turned out Horse” on Velka Pardubicka day I have been amazed at the year on year improvement in the standard of turn out.  This year Chris Collins kindly agreed to join me in the paddock to cast his expert eye.   He too commented on the high standard, and it was a relief to me that his selections were the same as my own in every race!!  It was obvious that all the grooms had spent so much time and effort in preparing their horses, particularly those who had manes and tails plaited, which I know myself is a very time consuming job.   I look forward to next year.
