It has been announced that the Charvat Group will sponsor the 2014 Czech Derby, which will held on the traditonal date, the fourth Sunday in June, at Prague Velka Chuchle racecourse. The Charvat group produces hydraulics equipment and represents international hydraulics companies in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Central Europe http://www.charvat-chs.cz/en/about-group. The Charvat Group is one of our major sponsors, but last sponsored a Czech classic race, the Czech St Leger, in 2005. Slovak classic races have also been sponsored by the Charvat Group.

Jiri Charvat is one of our leading owners, and the Czech Derby is one of our few major races that he has not yet won as an owner.
