In the Cleve Hurdle at Cheltenham on January 25^th, Jan Faltejsek rode yet another big winner in Big Buck’s comeback race. After more than a year off the track, Big Buck’s appears to have needed a race. The finish was fought out between Jan Faltejsek, on the 66 to 1 outsider, and A. P. McCoy, on the second favourite, At Fishers Cross. The Czech jockey got his horse home by a short head.

Knockara Beau is trained in Northumberland by George Charlton, in whose yard Jan Faltejsek spent several winters, before moving to France 15 months ago.
