The most recent press release from Pardubice racecourse announces that the decision to hold the two-day meeting in October on the Friday and Sunday has been changed. The flat race meeting will be held on the Saturday (October 11th). The124th running of the Česká pojišt'ovna Velka Pardubicka will, of course, be held on its traditional date, the second Sunday in October, i.e. October 12th. The Central European Thoroughbred Sale will be held on Friday, October 10th.

The Friday date for the flat meeting was originally announced in order to provide more time for preparing the course. However, the decision to revert to the traditional times will be popular with most racegoers. Vistors from abroad will be able to enjoy two days of racing, and to get to know the course on the Saturday afternoon. Note that the first race on the Saturday is likely to be at about midday, and on Velka Pardubicka day, at around 11.15 a.m.
