Today [December 19^th] the purchase was finalized of the majority shareholding in Turf Holding, which is the majority owner of Turf Praha a.s., the owner of Prague Velká Chuchle racecourse. Through its daughter company, TMM s.r.o., the purchase includes the management of racing atPrague Velká Chuchle racecourse. The previous owners took over the racecourse on October 18^th, when they bought out the bankrupt Dostihové závodiště a.s.

According to a statement issued by Radovan Vítek, a leading Czech developer and real estate magnate, the purchase is not linked with his professional interests, and was made for his wife, Maria, and his daughters, who are active in showjumping.
