Timetables for EJC day - this Saturday

The first race on EJC day, Saturday September 22nd, will be at 13.30, and it will be the celebrity race, featuring Josef Váňa senior as a rider in a flat race.

The big race, the LERAM Million, will be the sixth race on the card, to be run at 16.30. There are 16 runners in this race, including the legendary sprinter Gordon Lord Byron, which is being flown in from Ireland for the race. All of the 16 participants in the EJC event will have a ride in this race.

The last race will be at 17.50, after which the result of the European Jockeys Cup will be announced, and the winners will collect their prizes.

The best way to get to Prague Velká Chuchle racecourse is by suburban train. Praha Velká Chuchle railway station is two minutes walk from the main entrance to the racecourse.

Trains going to Praha Smíchovské nádraží and Praha Hlavní nádraží leave Praha Velká Chuchle at 11 minutes and 41 minutes after each hour.

The trains between the racecourse and the city centre are part of the Prague integrated public transport network. All relevant public transport tickets are valid. However, note that public transport paper tickets are not on sale at Prague Velká Chuchle, and electronic public transport tickets cannot be used on trains (if are using single-journey tickets, purchase your ticket for the return journey before you arrive at the racecourse).
