Riders announced for two British horses to run in the Velka Pardubicka

According to IRB https://www.irbracing.com/, the Newmarket-based agency which has for many years facilitated the transportation and all arrangements for horses from the UK that are entered for the Velka Pardubicka, both of the British horses entered for the VP are expected to run in the race on Sunday October 13th.

Both horses are owned by Fergus Wilson, and trained by David Pipe, who has announced the jockeys that will ride the horses in the race. Van Gogh Du Granit will be ridden by 23-y-o Irish rider David Noonan, whose first ride at Pardubice this will be. Rathlin Rose, whose most recent run was in the Scottish Grand National in April, will be ridden by James Best, who finished in fourth place in this year’s Aintree Grand National. James Best rode in the 2018 Velka Pardubicka, getting round right at the rear of the field on Ribelino.

IRB offers a comprehensive service facilitating the participation of horses in international races, and IRB representative James Fry is a good friend of racing at Pardubice and of the Czech horseracing community in Newmarket.
