Latest news about Irish, British and French-trained entries for the Velka Pardubicka

At the beginning of September, James Fry has sent some information about the Irish-trained, UK-trained and French-trained horses that are entered for this year’s Velka Pardubicka. Runners and riders will be declared on October 4th. Thanks, James, for these interesting rumours.

Wedger Pardy (Kim Bailey)      This horse is injured and will not run

Lord Villez (Ferdy Murphy)       Ferdy says the horse is really well and he is intending to run him.

Arabella Boy (Enda Bolger)      Almost certainly not coming out

Freneys Well (Enda Bolger)      Still very much a possibility

Keep On Track (Enda Bolger)   Unlikely, but there is a possibility that he may come out for a supporting race

Mount Sion (Enda Bolger)        A definite possibility

Zest For Life (Enda Bolger)      A definite possibility

Saddlers Storm (Tony Martin)    This horse is injured and will not run

The Midnight Club (Willie Mullins)   Unlikely to participate

Uncle Junior (Willie Mullins)     Unlikely to participate

Another Jewel (Denis Murphy)     This horse is injured and has been retired

Fille De Juilley (Patrice Quinton, France)    Injured, a non-runner

Folie D’Ocean (Patrice Quinton, France)  Expensively supplemented for the race at the end of August, so presumably an intended runner

Maljimar (Nick Williams)   This horse is going to run at Merano at the moment in the Crystal Cup race, which makes him very unlikely for Pardubice

Shalimar Fromentro (Nick Williams)   A definite possibility - Runs this weekend in the Crystal Cup race at Craon. Jane Williams is keen to come out with him for the big race and is looking to possibly bring some other horses out for the supporting races.
