The last race meeting at the Šamorín stud, not far south of Bratislava, was held in 1991. Now, on Sunday, September 21st, racing returns to this small town, but at a new location. There will be five races, including a race for Arab horses - a rarity in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The new racecourse is called Hippo Arena, and forms part of the modern Elements Resort.
