A comment on the Galopp Reporter website expresses what many of us think about the stand-off between the Jockey Club and the organizers of race meetings in the Czech Republic, and about the cancellation of the first day of the 2016 horseracing season.

One side or the other may be right – it makes no difference. We owners, trainers and riders have been taken hostage in an uneasy war between the Jockey Club and the organisers. Since most of us have already paid to renew our licences and to register our horses, and have even entered them for the classics, we expect an immediate solution to the situation and publication of the race conditions!!!!!
