Wroclaw will attract our jumps jockeys and trainers

Wroclaw Partynice racecourse has announced an interesting programme of racing for the 2016 season. There will be a total of 39 races over fences and hurdles, and this year these races are concentrated onto seven race days, each of which will have at least four races over obstacles.

The race days at Wroclaw are on April 24th, May 22nd, June 19th, August 7th, September 4th, September 25th and October 16th. These days do not appear to clash with jumps racing in the Czech Republic, and many Czech jumps jockeys and trainers will no doubt consider Wroclaw as an integral and very welcome part of their racing season. The number of races at Wroclaw is equivalent to about 25% of the number of jumps races that will be run in the Czech Republic this year.

On June 19th, the main event is a crosscountry race over 5500 metres with prize money of zloty 172 000, equivalent to EUR 40 000. As from next year, this race will be part of the Crystal Cup cross-country series. The Wielka Wroclawska, over fences, prize money zloty 175 000, and the Wielka Partynicka, over hurdles, prize money zloty 100 000, will both be run on the same day this year, on September 4th.

A total of 16 race days are planned for Wroclaw in 2016. The Polish Oaks will not be run there this year, and the main flat race of the season will be the Nagroda Prezydenta Miasta Wroclawia on June 5th. This race over 2400 metres is for 4-y-o and older, and has prize money of zloty 87 500, about EUR 20 000.

Wroclaw is located only 180 km from Pardubice, and they are twinned towns.
