Two Czech-trained horses made the long journey to Stockholm to participate in the final race day at Täby racecourse in Stockholm. Both Taurito and Catch the Cash are trained by Radim Bodlák and were ridden by Josef Bartoš. Both Czech horses were well beaten.

I understand that Taurito and Catch the Cash will remain in Sweden at Strömsholm, where they will run at the Swedish Grand National day meeting, on June 11th, for which Josef Bartoš is also expected to return to Sweden. Trainer Stanislav Popelka is also expected to take horses to run at Strömsholm.

Swedish jumps jockey, Niklas Lovén, will be riding at Pardubice on Saturday, May 21st. He rode Imbir in the 2012 Velka Pardubicka, and has ridden several times at Pardubice, Světla Hora, Bratislava and at other courses in Central Europe. On Saturday, he will be riding the outsider Pareto in the VP qualification race.
