Charvát group takes a majority shareholding in Most racecourse

According to information provided by ČTK, after an auction held on May 27th, president of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic, Jiří Charvát, has become the majority shareholder of Most racecourse. His company, Charvát Group, paid CzK 18.1 million [EUR 666 000] to Severní energetická (Northern Power) for its majority share in the racecourse. Charvát Group will now own 57.54% of the shares in the company. The second biggest shareholder is the Town of Most. According to ČTK, the priority of the new majority shareholder is to continue with horse racing at Most racecourse.
