Conseq Park, Velka Chuchle Racecourse (Prague) will once again open its doors this Saturday to a gathering of top European Jockeys when it hosts the LOKO TRANS European Jockeys Cup for the second time.

Last year’s event proved to be a big success and Managing Director Petr Drahos is hoping that Saturday’s nine race card will prove to be even better and more popular than the inaugural event in 2015.

Sixteen jockeys from all over Europe will be in attendance on Saturday in four big EJC races worth in total over 125,000 Euros and the remainder of the card will be made up of five smaller races.

Josef Bojko (Slovakia), Theo Bachelot (France), Per-Anders Graberg (Sweden), Darryll Holland (Great Britain), Vaclav Janacek (Czech Republic), Jaroslav Linek (Slovakia), Szczepan Mazur (Poland), Roberto-Carlos Montenegro (Spain), Gerald Mosse (France), Bayurzhan Murzabayev (Kazakistan), Jimmy Quinn (Ireland), Jan Raja (Czech Republic), Umberto Rispoli (Italy), Alberto Sanna (Italy), Dennis Schiergen (Germany) and Julien Auge (France) will all head to the Czech capital in what looks to be an exciting event.

In every race the points will be awarded as follows:

1^st place = 6 points
2^nd place = 4 points
3^rd place = 3 points
4^th place = 2 points
5^th place = 1 point
 
There are nine races in total but only the six best results will be valid for the final total and in the case of a tie the result of the 9^th race the EJC million will be the deciding factor.

The successful jockey in this competition will receive €5,000 (Euros) with the second and third receiving €3,000 and €2,000, respectively.

Conseq Park Velka Chuchle was founded in 1906 and is a historic racecourse not only in the Czech Republic but in Central Europe as a whole. The venue is the host to almost all the important Czech flat races, including four Czech Classics (1000 Guineas, 2000 Guineas, Derby and St Leger). 

The racetrack itself is a one mile three furlong right-handed circuit with a straight of three furlongs and conforms to all international standards. Racing takes place from April through to October, and there are 160 races with total prize money of 20,000,000 Czech Koruna. It is one of the busiest racecourses in Central Europe.
