The Twenty-second Czech Horseracing Gala Evening, organized by the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic, will be held, like last year’s event, at Národní dum na Vinohradech in Prague, which is one of the finest ballrooms in Prague. It is located right next to Náměstí Miru metro station, green line. The date for this celebration of the 2016 season is Saturday, February 4th, 2017.

The programme will begin with an evaluation of the 2016 season, and with prizes for the leading human and equine performers.

Participants in the Gala Evening can look forward to good food and drinks, live music and a dance performance.
This is an evening that will begin as a formal event with a prizegiving ceremony and ballroom dancing, and will then transform itself into an event for younger people. Formal/ballroom dress is specified.

• Payment and delivery of tickets: On the basis of your order, you will receive an invoice. After payment has been received, your tickets will be sent by post. If the settlement is made less than five days before the event, tickets can be collected at the secretariat of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic at Velka Chuchle racecourse, or outside the ballroom on the day of the event.

• The price of the ticket includes a welcome drink, and there will be a bottle of red/white wine at each table, and small snack items.

• Two bars will be operating adjacent to the ballroom, where cold refreshments, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be on sale. The cocktail bar on the ground floor bar will offer mixed drinks.
