An unusually small number of exotic jockeys have been engaged for the Derby this year. Aurelein Lemaitre will be on Stellar Speed and Jack Mitchell will ride Noble Cliffs.

Leading Slovak jockeys Róbert Šara (George Boole), Jaroslav Línek (Dominique) and Zdeno Šmida (Irwin Forge) count as an integral part of our elite.

 

After being our top rider in recent years, Kazakh jockey Bauyrzhan Murzabayev decided to ply his trade in Germany this year, and within a few weeks he has established himself very strongly there. He will ride Nagano Gold on Sunday. Czech jockey Tomáš Lukášek, who is now based in Warsaw, will be on Aeneas.
