15 declared runners and riders for the VP. Santa Klara and Young Dev not declared

Two of the entered horses have not been declared to run. Santa Klara ran recently in a race at Merano that was won by Brunch Royal, and finished lame. Young Dev will not come over from Ireland.
The Czech jockeys on the best-backed horses are as expected.
Thomas Garner will be on Stretton, which he rode into 2nd place in VP 2018.
Patrick Mullins will ride Slovak-trained Kaiserwalzer - this pairing failed to get round in the September VP qualification race at Pardubice, through no fault of their own, and they were brought down at the Taxis in last year's VP.
French jockey Ludovic Solignac rode Chicname de Cotte when they finished 3rd in the August qualifiction race.
Star will be ridden by his Slovak trainer, Jaroslav Brečka, who rode the winner of the Velka Pardubicka thirty years ago.
