OS HIPPODROM, organiser of racing at Lysá nad Labem, has with regret announced the cancellation of the race meeting on September 28th, 2023. The reason for the cancellation is extensive damage to the racetrack, caused by wild boars. The Jockey Club had been informed about the situation a week ago. The racecourse organiser has already been having this problem for several weeks. “For the safety of riders and horses, we have with regret been obliged to cancel this meeting. As an alternative, we are considering an alternative date of November 11th, 2023, assuming that we will be able to repair the track properly and that the holes in the turf can be put right in due time,“ says Lukáš Palyza from OS HIPPODROM.

The racecourse and the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic will provide timely information in the event that the races can take place on an alternative date.
