Racing at Most and at Prague Velka Chuchle this weekend

Racing at Most on Saturday will feature, above all, a jackpot of CzK 93 000 for the tricast, which will go onto the first race, after no-one bet on the first three in the Velka Pardubicka in the correct order. Although there are only ten runners, the opening race is a Category III handicap in which the handicapper appears to have done a very good job, and a winning ticket will be a nice thing to have. A second feature at Most will be the appearance of Vaclav Janáček, who this year again leads the flat jockeys’ championship in Spain. Thirdly, there is a Category I race over 1 400 metres, in which Kendy and Nine ou Four will be the favourites. There are seven races on the card, first race at 1.30.

On Sunday, the meeting at Prague Velka Chuchle offers nine races, and the first race is at 12 midday. The main event is the 76th running of the Category I Leram Winter Favourite, for 2-y-os over 1 600 metres. Rabbit Mountnelson has some respectable form and experience, but one or two of the less exposed juveniles may be better than him.
