The sudden death was announced on August 7^th of Luděk Mikulecký, owner of the BORS Břeclav stable. Since 2005, the stable has won 74 races, including the Slovak derby, with Rocky of Gracie. The stable’s Universe of Gracie won the May qualification race for this year’s Velká Pardubická. Luděk Mikulecký was a former member of the Council of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic.

Luděk Mikulecký was a well-known figure in the Breclav – Lednice area, where he was involved in children’s charities and in providing access to sports facilities.
