Announcement of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic

Since the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic has not yet received the results of an analysis of the so-called B Samples for the horses Čáriray and Nikas (positive findings for the samples taken after races run at Pardubice on October 10th and 11^th), for which trainer Stanislav Popelka asked in November, and which are being carried out by FEI Central Laboratory (LGC Limited) in the United Kingdom, the secretariat of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic has questioned this laboratory about the time scale within which it will present the results of the analysis that was ordered.

According to information provided by Mrs Polly Taylor, from LGC Ltd., the process of the analysis of the samples has already been completed and a report is being prepared. Due to the volume of data that has been generated within the framework of a quantitative analysis, this will take more time. Nevertheless, Mrs Taylor assumes that the results should be available to the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic at the beginning of next week.
