Wroblewski moves to Mimoň

Greg Wroblewski is on the move again. He is currently packing up and taking his family and 21 horses to Mimoň.

In spite of problems with his present yard, Greg has had a lot of success again this year. He has had 12 winners here on the flat, and leads the trainers’ championship. However, his 3-y-os have not yet turned their early-season promise into big-race success.

He also had some good success with his jumpers abroad in the winter months, and again recently. Terapena had a nice win in France in February, and another at Merano last weekend. 4-y-o Santo Cerro won a Graded race over hurdles at Pisa in February. Tarant, which moved to Greg’s yard in the winter, won a nice race at Merano last weekend. All of these winners over obstacles have been ridden by Jan Faltejsek.

According to an interview published in Galopp Reporter, Tarant will now run in a Velka Pardubicka qualification race. He has run in crosscountry “sprints” until now, but both the trainer and the owner would like nothing better than to have a contender for the Velka.
