Ten o’clock today is the deadline for declaration to run in the races on Czech Derby day (Sunday June 25^th). The declarations will be followed with particular interest by trainer Greg Wroblewski. There are only 16 places in the boxes for the Derby, and 18 horses are still entered. In the event that there are more than 16 declared runners, the horses with the lowest handicap rating will be eliminated.

The long-awaited first PMU raceday in the Czech Republic took place last Friday. There was a remarkably good crowd by the time of the first race, which was 11.10 a.m. The first five races on the card were covered by PMU. There were good fields. Prague Velká Chuchle racecourse was in good order.
