The Seventh Annual Central Thoroughbred Auction will be held at Pardubice racecourse on Friday, October 10, 2014. The planned start of the auction is at 1:00 pm, with horse inspection from 10 a.m.  

The last race meeting at the Šamorín stud, not far south of Bratislava, was held in 1991. Now, on Sunday, September 21st, racing returns to this small town, but at a new location. There will be five races, including a race for Arab horses - a rarity in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The new racecourse is called Hippo Arena, and forms part of the modern Elements Resort.

The main event among the ten races at Pardubice on September 13^th was the fourth qualification race for the 124^th running of the Velka Pardubicka with Česká Pojištʼovna, which will be run at Pardubice racecourse on Sunday, October 12th.

Pardubice, August 28th, 2014 – The first supplementary entry date for the 124th  Velka Pardubicka with Česká Pojišťovna has been made use of by three racing stables.
